IPL Player Auction 2020: leg-break bowler Ravi Bishnoi, a member of India'sUnder-19 World Cup squad, was purchased Thursday by Kings XI Punjab for Rs 2 Crore. Bishnoi took a deal which was 10 times his base price.

When many of them were sold for more than INR 1 crore, the IPL Player Auction 2020 turned out to be a big opportunity for the uncapped India teams. As predicted, Yashasvi Jaiswal, India's youngest double centurion in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, got a heavy deal as he was sold to Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.4 crore while Varun Chakravarthy again grabbed a heft deal despite playing only one match for Kings XI Punjab in last year's IPL.

In 2015, Yashasvi etched his name in record books by hitting 319 not out and taking bowling figures of 13 for 99 in Mumbai's Giles Shield Cricket Tournament to set a record for the highest score and most wickets in a game in a school-level competition.
Yashasvi has been in fine form for Mumbai in the prestigious September-October Vijay Hazare Trophy this season. He scored 203 off 154 balls for Mumbai with 12 sixes and 17 boundaries and thus became the youngest batsman to score a double hundred in List A cricket.
The youngster is currently preparing for a preparatory tour that will be followed by the World Cup to travel to South Africa with the IndiaUnder-19 team.
Ravi BishnoiOn Thursday, Kings XI Punjab bought Leg-break bowler Ravi Bishnoi, who is part of India's Under-19 World Cup squad, for Rs 2 crore. Bishnoi took 10 times his base price for a contract. While Bishnoi played just 2 games at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and he took 12 wickets in them at a 4.37 economy that was enough for the franchises to see the potential in the 19-year-old.
Only in September this year the Rajasthan bowler made his List A debut playing for his state in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Just a month after his debut on List A, Bishnoi has been named a squad for the Deodhar Trophy 2019-20 in India. Bishnoi has collected eight and six wickets respectively in his short career of six matches in the List A and six in the T20.
He is also a part of India's squad to be held in South Africa for the upcoming U-19 World Cup.
